Company of Charity of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal

A secular institute with contemplative branch in formation

Welcome To our Website

***We are not associated with any congregation of the Salesian, Vincentian, Passionist or Carthusian spiritualities.***

Welcome to the website of the Company of Charity of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal (CCMM).   We are a group of women discerning the establishment of a new secular institute with contemplative branch.  We combine the Vincentian and Passionist spiritualities with the sub-spiritualities of our ministries.

We are currently utilizing the internet to develop our way of life in our own homes.  We are yet to receive the Church's recognition of our new congregation, mainly because we do not know in which diocese our brick-and-mortar novitiate ("Seminary") will be established.  We consider ourselves to be in an experimentation stage of the Inspiration Phase, in which the way of life is lived, and the guiding documents are written.  The four phases of foundation, according to the Canon Law Society of America, are: Inspiration; Association; Diocesan; and Pontifical.

"Do with me as you will," prayed St. Catherine Laboure at the foot of the altar.  The CCMM strive to imitate our patroness in not only charitable works, but in the distribution of the Miraculous Medal.  We expect our sisters to be the hands and feet of Christ, from the womb to the tomb.  Our six divisions of service -- Combination; Social; Prisons; Educational; Medical; and Sacerdotal -- span the spectrum of needs.

For those who are attracted, but are members of sedevacantist; schismatic; or autocephalous churches, we request you enter deep discernment regarding said attractions.  Adherents of the aforementioned churches are ineligible for membership with us.

Act of Charity

O my God, I love Thee with my whole heart and above all things, because thou art infinitely good and amiable; grant that I may love Thee more and more and for all eternity.  I love my neighbor as myself for the love of Thee.

CCMM Prayer Book based on that of the 1936 Daughters of Charity edition.
